This isn’t a Democrat verse Republic issue since all politicians are guilty of this. Yes, it’s not illegal since THEY made sure to change the laws to make sure of that.
This is why they fight so hard to stay in power and if you think about it, that’s how that Biden and countless other, a life-long politician, become multi-millionaires on a federal salary.
This is why that should illegal for even politicians to be involved in since they are the one making the laws and policies. Which they greatly benefit from their own efforts, in “serving” the American people.

It probably is if you have to have a home in your NYC district , a place to live in DC and have money left over for a Florida beach vacation.
