So are fed gov't employees whose average comp packages are above $100k, with fat pensions, cadillac health coverage, and more days off than the private sector. And the contractors whohave the same deals.
As a former defense contractor that often worked in government facilities, believe me when I tell you, the deals are not even close to being equal. GS work is about as close to legalized prostitution that you will find.
