Sent to me, I read. Very informative article. I did not feel the need to do further research. We are all free to make our own assumptions and decisions about flying with this airline. Me, I choose to have nothing at all to do with this company after reading this.

For those who don't feel like clicking into the link to get some idea of what this thread is about, Jet Blue Airlines refused to hire unvaxed pilots but hired a pilot with a felony record.

Thank god for that. I thought it would have been something involving drag queens.

I want my plane piloted by a cross-eyed midget who can't see over the dash.....in a sense of fairness and inclusivity.

For a minute there, I thought someone was going to say the pilots had to be from Team Blue to fly a plane for Jet Blue.

What gets lost with the federal/Biden vax mandate it isn't being enforced in part to lawsuits etc which is noted in op link. Probably a bunch of cya lawyers and executives.

In the era of airline passenger rage yes the pilot with a criminal assault is more dangerous than an unvaxxed colleague.

New York state law prohibits not hiring someone based on their felony record.

https://dol.ny.gov/system/files/docu...rticle-23a.pdf

JetBlue has no option. If they don't follow this law, they will be sued by the state, and will lose.

Direct your anger at the government, not the companies.

The Covid requirement has since been dropped.

So an un-vaxed pilot can commit a felony and get his job back!
