I still think we are in the early stages of WWIII. Attacking a Russian military base is a big provocation.

Explosion at Nuclear Airbase Just 150 Miles From Moscow Opens Stunning New Phase of War

Two explosions at major Russian military bases, including the Dyagilevo base near Ryazan just 150 miles from Moscow, mean the war in Ukraine has come right to Vladimir Putin’s doorstep.

The explosions—which may have been missile or drone strikes but that has yet to be confirmed—suggest that whoever is behind them wanted to strike fear right in the heart of Russia.

If it was caused by the Ukrainian Army at least they have the decency to choose a military target unlike the Russians who only seem capable of terrorizing the civilian populace.

If they did it, hope they didn't use Nato weapons.

Just speaking from a military angle there is no way Ukraine would be able to get their territory back if they had a "can't fire into Russia" anchor around their neck.

These bases are where the barbarians have been launching missions against Ukraine's homes, churches, and schools. Self-defense,

They should hit the Kremlin also, and take out Mr. Potato Head.

Oh hey, you know what else is a big provocation? Invading a neighboring country wholesale after having already annexed a fourth of it, indiscriminately shelling civilian targets, destroying civilian energy infrastructure to try freezing them to death, leaving behind mass graves filled with civilians, etc. And you want to call a MILITARY RESPONSE on a MILITARY TARGET of the aggressor a "provocation?"

FOH with that noise.

Is it possible that this could be the result of careless smoking?

Just wondering.

I don't disagree with you. Russia is committing war crimes. But they have nuclear weapons.
