Well it looks like the green New deal is moving forward and will not allow gas driven cars to be sold in seven states. We will have no choice.

EVs are real and the future of the auto industry. Elon Musk is hardly a fruity liberal and he was the one who got the industry going. Shifting to EVs is a far cry from the multi-trillion dollar woke garbage AOC wanted in the Green New Deal. But thinking ICE engines are forever makes the GOP look like dinosaurs.

Who said ICEs are "forever"? Even humans will probably go extinct at some point.


We still use wind and animals for travel, energy, etc. Some of the most primitive methods available. Steam power is also still used. It's not hard to imagine ICEs hanging on for the next century, at least. It's great that we embrace the future, but you can't force these changes prematurely if society is not yet ready.
