They know they can't do this.

Congress controls spending.

This is just more political gamesmanship that people will get sucked into - with the goal of saying the GOP doesn't care about them... vote for us. When what's really happening is the Dems don't care about them - and simply want to manipulate young adults with student loans into voting for them.

$39B divided into 804,000 students = approx $48,500 per student.

It not happening.

If they wanted to do it, just credit the money today. Why send a notice?

Supreme Court ruled on in it already. This administration is wasting the courts time, and giving people false hopes.

let's see, promise something and blame the "corrupt" court if he doesnt get it and hopefully get votes come next election. A bit ironic, and telling about our colleges, that this effort is targeted at supposedly educated people. Yet they still believe this when they hear it.

Yes, I think so. Empty talk. I wonder why now, and not in 2024, but then again, I don't think he will be in the race next year. I dont see the point.

Biden is dangling the carrot again and seeking votes.

The Biden admin is so Racist I'm surprised that he is not offering a double payment for Black students with debt.

If Biden keeps this in the spotlight there will be plenty that will vote for the "D" out of Hope that it will happen but they know for certain that if a Republican gets in they won't see a dime.

What is ironic and sad is that these debt riddled people will suffer through rising inflation that is the fault of the Dems and an unsettled jobs market in the hopes of a Free handout. Maybe if they voted against the Dems their lives might actually get better and they will be able to pay off the debt on their own. Imagine that.

I wanted to buy you that pony, but bad mommy said NO!

Just a tactic to gain votes by manipulating the self centered leeches.

"Either let us do this illegally or we'll keep pointing out that you're the ones stopping us from doing it".

The Constitution means nothing, the laws mean nothing(unless you're Trump), buying the votes of the mob is all that matters.
