In it's current form, Israel is a terrorist state and like other terrorist organization it must be dismantled/defeated and from it's ashes a more democratic and inclusive state can take it's place.
If you don't get this then you are a supporter of terrorism. I'm glad young people can see.
It’s not Israel- but the politics. The death of the young and innocent. They can’t see how they can’t separate the bad guys from the rest of the population. Waiting on my HS grand now. Gonna ask him.
Considering that not everyone goes to college, I think it's more a case of social media and access to world news that allows this demographic in particular, to get a more worldly view of things, and not just what US media feeds them. This allows them to make a more "informed" decision, whether one agrees with it or not.
This is the same problem the Palestinians have. They think the it is possible for there to be no Israel one day.
This is a fantasy. This fantasy only prolongs the suffering of the Palestinians.
As long as they think that this impossibility is possible, they will keep attacking, instead of what every other population throughout history has done, and accepted a compromise over land disputes.
The Palestinians don't need ALL the Land. The Jews don't need ALL the land. There is not enough of either of them to fill the land.
And they will never be able to live on the same land. Both sides want to subjugate the other to second class citizen status, so living together in harmony is not something that is on the table.
They can live separately, right next to each other in peace, if only they will accept each other's right to exist.
One side has done that numerous times. The other side hasn't even once.
One side has accepted the internationally accepted borders numerous times. The other side just wants their neighbors dead.
Israel is never going anywhere. They have a thriving $550 Billion economy. They create technology and medicines that the whole world uses. They are a nuclear power. They are never going anywhere. Period.
The Palestinians (and Gen Z'ers) need to accept that before there can ever be peace. Until they accept that, Palestinians will suffer.
Further evidence that young folks are generally naive and prone to oversimplification of complex issues.
