Shouldn't this be illegal no matter which individual is doing it?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~
Liberal billionaire George Soros is pouring extensive amounts of cash into Texas in an attempt to flip the state to Democrats, state campaign finance records reviewed by Fox News Digital show.
Soros has contributed over $3 million to at least five left-wing groups in the Lone Star State over the last year to beef up infrastructure and help Democrats make gains in the overwhelmingly Republican stronghold.
I'm not sure if George Soros is driven by any belief in the virtues of liberalism, or if he just hates America and wants to see it collapse. His son that is taking over control of "Open Society" is certainly all about the identity politics stuff, but George Soros is driven more by a desire for control and influence for purposes that I suspect are not political.
It's interesting though that democrats used to squawk loudly about all the money from billionaires that go into shaping the outcomes of these elections. But I haven't heard them complain about anything George Soros is doing in well over 20 years.
No. Big money for culture wars for DiSantis came from west Texas oil tycoon’s. As long as it’s legal money and follow the rules, we agreed to, let it rain money.
I would have no issue at all in limiting the amount of money individuals, corporations, and other organizations (such as unions and chambers of commerce) can donate to political campaigns. I am all for a cap so they cannot buy influence.
Data doesnt seem to be available past 2022 at this point.
Soros has indeed been the biggest donor in recent elections by far (ONLY to liberal causes), no matter how much the lefties squeal about "The Kochtapus".....
""Soros" "Only to liberal causes"
Soros causes are way past average Liberal causes. He is behind Judges and Prosecutors failing to prosecute the most violent repeat offenders there are.
Congress disagrees. They like the money flowing and have no qualms being "influenced".
Besides...they get guaranteed jobs when they leave Congress.
It's not us peons that fund their campaigns. It's the big money that does.
It’s no different than wealthy corporations & developers donating millions to Texas Republicans. Still don’t agree with it though.
Soros is Jewish, and their behavior is as old as the old testament - to align and gain favor, and it inevitably backfires but they always think it will be different for Gods chosen people. Non-Israeli Jews, aligning with the left, anti-zionist Hamas lovers in hopes of being passed over, ahem, but this will turn out like it always does. Something bad will happen because those in power who they helped gain power will realize they cannot be trusted, those they smited will save them, rinse and repeat. Doesn't it strike you as odd that religious people, very closed in terms of maintaining ethnicity and behavior, would support leftist causes? Now they have TV ads saying don't hate us, targeted toward the very people they support - proof.
Soros, and all the radical Libs are shooting themselves in the foot in Texas, & w/ the open borders.
Why?
Hispanics now favor Trump 39% over Bien 34%, so the more they let in, the more it helps Pubs in the future...oops.
