Trump just like Biden will be beholden to the rich and powerful since they are the ones funding both campaigns. The rich are not donating out of kindness. They will require something for their money. 3rd party anyone?

Trump Courts Palm Beach Billionaires as Power of His Rallies Fades

Donald Trump is being forced to turn to the rich and the elite as his rallies fail to whip up enough small-dollar donations to fund his campaign.

A Saturday event in Palm Beach hosted by billionaire John Paulson is expected to generate $30 million for Trump from contributors writing six-figure checks. That’s likely to dwarf the haul from a sea of loyal less-wealthy supporters who the ex-president rallied on Tuesday evening in Wisconsin.
The contrast highlights a stark reality for the presumptive Republican nominee: His rallies, which aren’t generating fundraising boosts like they used to, have taken a back seat to other efforts to narrow the large cash advantage enjoyed by President Joe Biden.

Come on - Trump still has the vote of middle and lower middle class. Problem being donations may be slow because of the economy. Even you can see the BS in this article - why rile people up?

People may not be showing up at his rallies in the same numbers, but my guess is they sure are going to show up at the polls in November. He probably doesn't even have to raise as much money as Biden. People are going to vote for him whether or not he has 'big campaign money.'

Because we have better choices than Trump or Biden who are but beholden to the rich. If the lower and middle class really rise up it won't be voting for a D or R.

At this point, who are the better choices? I suppose we could all write-in someone?

I still can't figure out how our system has gotten so corrupt that THESE TWO are the best we have out of 333 million people!!! It's confounding and very disappointing.

Big campaign money is less important now than ever. Why?

Big money used to be spent on tv ads, which were very costly.

TV viewership has plummeted so far, its no longer the most effective way to reach the masses.

Reacing voters electronic devices (smartphones & laptops) cost much less.

Also, Trump already has name recognition, & everyone knows his policies. There's not much left to advertise, other than bash Biden. He might be better off laying off that strategy anyways...makes him look like a mean bully.

What other choice - RFK Jr.? While I was happy when he first decided to run - the more he talks about his platform - the more I disagree with his outlook.

They aren't, and I've been saying for years that no one should vote for either of them.

Trump should take a break and deal with the nonsense Law fare the Left is throwing at him. Thanks to the nonstop TDS Trump is never far from the "news". Even bad publicity is good publicity because it is showing just how terrible the Dems are and how they have weaponized the Courts.

We all know what Trump stands for and that he will fight to MAGA so he can chill like Biden in his basement but of course the Left will scream that Trump is hiding in his bunker, possibly sick from a nervous breakdown or something but who cares? We know Trump and we know the Democrats.

Trump can resume the rallies in September and his supporters will flock to them.

So ... the day that Trump and the RNC release that they hauled in 66 million in March is the exact same day that Yahoo runs a negative piece on Trump's fundraising.
