Not surprising.

Pretty much exhibit A as to why some countries are leaving some parts of the world in the dust in terms of technology.

If you only develop half your population, you are going to lose. (Actually stole that from a middle eastern leader).

In the US, the saddest situation is where you have an extremely gifted student but no means to really develop them due to where they live, their family etc.

She is 'acting white'. Some blacks WILL say this, then more blacks will propagate this, then this girl and her family will be the target of blacks' racist ire.

There is no way to prove this, but am %100 confident that America lost many brilliant blacks because of the charge of 'acting white'.
