The Khartoum Resolution issued on September 1 allowed the moderate oil producing nations (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Libya) to resume oil exports and regain this critical source of revenue without risking disquiet or even overthrow from their more radical citizens. In exchange, they agreed to give annual aid to "victims of Zionist aggression" namely Egypt and Jordan ($266 million and $112 million respectively). A full discussion as well as the text is available in the Khartoum Resolution article. website Khartoum Resolution - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's a boring read, but the reason I post this is to alert we oil consumers that supporting Arabs by importing their oil is not doing our friends in Israel and good...

Who cares, the hell with Israel.

We need oil, we import it from many countries not only the ME. In fact we import less from the ME than Venzuela or Canada.

Why is it that everything we need to decide about our future we have to double check with Israel first. Time to let go of this costly relationship.
