Probably for the same reasons that many people abuse these things, stress and chemical escape from that which ails you.

People from all walks of life have indulged in drug use; it's a common misperception that only poor and uneducated individuals ever use drugs. Use of drugs doesn't make a person bad, nor does it imply that they are incapable of acting responsibility, making intelligent decisions, leading a good life or improving the lives of others. Also, it's important to differentiate between drug use and drug abuse. Ocassionally using a drug doesn't constitute abuse; it's a dirty little secret that some people are capable of using even harder drugs like cocaine every great once in awhile without developing a habit or problem. In comparison, drug abuse is pretty much synonymous with addiction, or worse; you can say a person is abusing drugs when drug use becomes their primary focus and starts to impact on other impacts of their life and the lives of people around them. A person who snorts two lines of coke or smokes a hit off of a bong at a party one or two nights a year isn't a drug abuser, they don't have a problem (and, quite frankly, I personally don't see anything wrong with it; just because its illegal doesn't mean its immoral). A person who spends their paychecks on coke, pot or other drugs instead of on their bills, a person who uses drugs enough to interfere with their job, a person who uses regularly... that's abuse.

If I recall there is also a lot of liberties taken with the ladies, if one wanted to call that an abuse.

Drugs I really can't understand. But alcohol is because they go to college most likely. I mean many times the dulness of stuying all the time and not having alot of money makes Berr partties very popular. many get into the habit and keep it up after they leave. Its ike any substannce abuse it can grab you from what I have seen.

You have thought about it a lot............I was at a park in Norfolk Virginia and I was a Child. I watched as a young girl fed popcorn to a wild animal in a cage.. I don't remember , exactly ( raccoon ?) I do remember a do not feed sign. And I remember she climbed a small fence to get closer to the animal. And I remember someone warning her and she dismissed the warning. When she ran out of pop corn the animal tore a hole in her side as the animal wanted more pop corn. Stupid Story? Not to me , I got out of high school a long time ago............just lucky I guess, I'm not that smart.

ABUSE with the ladies? I am still wondering if Clinton was set up. Some people are ambitious and have a ring of helpers to get their way?..IF WE ...never knew about the stained dress, what would have happened?....what a great sex ed moment.
