Bonds does have a lot of support in San Fransisco doesn't he? Such a shame you can't drop the partisan politics for even a second and give an honest, informed opinion.
Has nothing to do with partisanship. Has to do with the vapid idea of imagining that pop-culture icons would make fine political leaders. Petraeus has no quailifications whatsoever as a poltiical leader. Maybe he'd be a great guy to have a beer with or to play golf with. But even those with very short memories should be able to recall what happened the last time we elected a guy on that sort of basis.
You mean like Ike and Teddy Roosevelt? Who actually does have qualifications to be a political leader? What are these qualifications? Are they written down somewhere? I 'd like to see them if you can point them out. Wasn't Clinton a "great guy to have a beer with or to play golf with."? I mean what were his qualifications? Reagan's? Bush? Obama?

I'm sorry, but are we talking about the same Bill Clinton who was a FIVE TERM governor of the state of Arkansas?
"I'm sorry, but are we talking about the same Bill Clinton who was a FIVE TERM governor of the state of Arkansas?"
Is that a qualification? If you're a 5 term governor of a state which was last in almost every measurable statistic, you are now qualified to be President? If Perot wouldn't have run he never would have won the first time anyway.

Yes it's a qualification. It's ADMINISTRATIVE experience, BUDGETING experience.
And by the way, Arkansas IMPROVED under the Clinton administration, significantly in the realm of education (with much help from Hillary, btw).
OBama's accomplishments? Registering people to vote? A death penalty law? WOW. The SOuthside district he represented? How's THAT doing? How about them freezing tenants in Uncle Rezko's apartments? How are they doing?
What has he done to prove he is ready to be the commander in chief of the largest military in the world in a time of war, and help steer the largest economy in the world in a time of recession?
It's hard not to improve if you're last in every measurable statistic, I mean it's not like you can go down. I was just asking what the qualifications were, I wasn't aware there was a list.
Glenn Beck scares me. He's a bit too much of a fear monger for my tastes, though he does make good points on occasion.

If you're wanting a general to run things, Colin Powell or Norman Schwarzkopf would be a better choice than "Betray US"!!!!
