Very true indeed, what will future generations say about us doing nothing to stop "the Patriot Act", wire taps, and federal agents pointing at you-determining that you are a "terrorist" and without a judges warrant bust down your door, point a automatic rifle at you and your family doing what they want, hold you for as long as they want with no habeas corpus? I wonder? I still cant believe this bull past on our watch.
I agree.I also think it is right to hold politicians in suspect on how and why they do in the name of the benefit of the American people and the world and that includes challenging leaders who send troops into harms way.
There are other ways to loose freedom and America for which it stands than besides loosing it from a battlefield.
Some would have you believe we could all just bring everyone home and go back to everyday life....If only some people realized what it would be like to be an American but live in China as an average paid citizen. Or somewhere like the the gaza strip.....they wouldn't be harking so much about why we do what we do.....

This is so very true, as once Obama and the Socialists get in unfortunately you will see many of your individual freedoms washed down the sewer. Even McCain has so many socialist leaning and this is so disturbing as G.W. Bush became one of our most socialist presidents ever.
The only hope now would be if McCain wins and cannot finish his term and Palin becomes president, as she would restore our true constitutional values of freedom.
They will say the samer thiognas we say about the thigns thast FDR put into place in WWII. Some will say he was a tyrant but then overall they will say they did what they had to do with the backing of the people and their representatives.They will probaly say the same thing about 9-11 as they do about pearl harbor how that we learned nothing from the first attack.They may look back at thie coming generation and say that it was the first gerneration that failed to achieve more than their father did in the american dream; whiole at the same time being given more than any generation.
