People like Ron Paul have been warning for years of this, and the critics laughed and said 'ooh, the sky is falling'. Now when they say the same thing, we are all supposed to jump, and pretend it all happened in a few weeks.

I wish Ron Paul lived in the hollow of a giant old tree in the middle of the forest, like a demented old wizard.... then it would be much more appropriate for people to go to him for his mystical foresight and guidance.

Hell yeah! I love this town! We've got everything, just gotta be able to handle the weather. Those 20k houses your talking about are probably in the ghetto, but overall the metropolitan area offers very cheap housing and we never saw much of the housing crisis.

They said the same about Roubini who has been warning about this since at least 2006.

Yeah don't listen to Ron Paul, he's a real dummy. Stick with ABC News - their the real deal.

um I can''t even tell what you are talking about as ther is no mention of what he "warned" about... I guess the bailout but I have no idea. I do disagree with Bostoonian... RP is a bright and good man. far more reliable than the media. and there aren't many politicians I would say that about. .... Dennis Kutcinich being the other. ( Nader too but he isn't exactly the same type off politician.)

YouTube - Ron Paul Interview 1988

We're at a point where gov't is going to have to be smaller. Otherwise, we're going to default. We really don't want that, but I see no other choice.

Yup..this bailout showed that no one in Congress or the House LISTENED to the voice of the people. They voted to keep the status quo of Corporations and Banksters.

We need a drastic change to get this country back ..maybe libertarian is the answer.

We'll see how many Americans are fed up enough to do it come November.
