Archway Bakery closed its doors last Friday in Ashland, OH , more than 150 people are now without a job . Apparently, they are now operating out of Canada. A Italian Company owns this Bakery.
Since George W. Bush took office in 2001, 1,087 Ohio factories and companies shut down or had mass layoffs, resulting in 180,264 Ohio workers losing their jobs.
That's an average of one Ohio plant closing or mass layoff every two and a half days and 61 job losses each day - for eight straight years.

When is this outsourcing going to quit?

This is a serious problem, not just in Ohio.

We need to wake up these politicians and demand jobs.

American jobs are worth fighting for. Lets make history and get this country moving again with "JOBS".
Please contact your representatives on a state level, federal level. When people are out of work they don't spend. Your job might be jeopardy.=

This is one of the reasons I really like Obama. He wants to save the tax breaks for the companies that don't make US jobs their number one export. If companies create and keep jobs at home they will get breaks. I think that's the way it should be. Tax the bejesus out of any company exporting their jobs to make more money for all I care...they aren't doing anything for the people here all they are doing is lining their pockets more and more at the expense of the people of America.

What was that tariff act that was passed somewhere in the late '20s/early '30s and wrecked the import / export market? Yeah, stuff like that is exactly what we need!

I agree, I blame Clinton for this and the fact he passed the Deregulation Bill. Clinton and his administration is the reason why our country is in this shape.
