Let me get this straight...household is 4 people according to most...so its not worth $43+ per year or $3.58 per month per person to have cleaner air and our children not having to use masks in 2030 when they want to play outside?
Who says our children will be wearing mask in 2030;haven't heard that one. But you might want to suspend all driving in many cities also or force electric cars.Why did they exclude some from teh bill. Dop you really thnik that industry is in the end goign to ay any of these taxes.

Yesterday, CBO released an analysis that examines the average cost per household that would result from the greenhouse gas cap-and-trade program in the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (H.R. 2454, as it was reported by the Committee on Energy and Commerce) and how that cost would be spread among households with different levels of income. The analysis does not include the effects of other aspects of the bill, such as federal efforts to speed the development of new technologies and to increase energy efficiency by specifying standards or subsidizing energy-saving investments.
The disparity between previous estimates is because they went from a full auction of the credits to allocating them. The revenue from that auction however was to be used to fund the mandates such as subsidization of renewables.
I dont want my bill going up a penny. I live in South Fla. My bills are high enough as it is. I dont even dry my clothes in the dryer. I wash dishes by hand. I have the green light blubs in my lamps. I used the special tint for my windows to help keep the heat out.

You didn't know, some can care less about children if the word "tax" is invloved even if it is only $43 bucks a year. American greed is off the chain!!

Yea it's only $100 bucks here, another $500 over there, coupla more $50's over there... Sorry but I have no more $500's, $100's or even $50's left to give.
I have my income taxed by the Federal, State and local government. I pay a 6% sales tax on nearly everything I purchase. School taxes, sanitary taxes etc.... The list is endless... there's $10 yearly tax if you want to work. Then when you die they tax that.
Enough is enough.
