Conservative talk radio will tell you ONLY what Republicans, Big Business, The Christian Right, and Israel want you to know.
And NPR and Air America are fair and balanced, right?

And liberal talk radio will tell you ONLY what Democrats want to hear, right?

Also, I do hear things on conservative talk radio that I don't agree with. It is too general a claim to say that all conservatives always agree with conservative talk radio.

And while we are on the subject. Although he is not really a true conservative, Bill O'Reilly once said this about extremists:

You are an extremist if you:

- Wanted Pres. Nixon to stay in the White House
- Think it was okay for Pres. Clinton to lie under oath
- Think Michael Moore reports accurately
- Think open borders is good for the U.S.
- Think foreign terrorists have constitutional rights
- Think everything Pres. Bush has done is good
- Think everything Pres. Bush has done is bad

Makes sense to me.

Air America, no.

NPR, yes. Give it a listen instead of taking Limbaugh's word on it. Just because they're not cheerleaders for the right doesn't make them left.

No...the fact they're left makes them left.

I listen to NPR sometimes and have heard very, very little that would recognized as positive for the right.

And nothing that would be positive for the left. That's what makes it neutral. What neocons struggle with is this whole idea of neutrality. You're either with them or against them.

Teh conservative radio talks about what has been lost and liberal radio talks about what might be gained. Losers like to be reminded that their dillusions were the One Right Way. Liberals are out there actually making the world a better place and don't have the time to waste being told what losers they are. Apparently conservatives do.

Translation....Conservatives tend to have jobs

I'm sure you have some evidence to back up this assertion, right?

Have you actually listened to the advertisements on right-wing talk radio? Scams, shady financial deals/programs, and miracle cures (weight loss and herbal ED drugs).

It ironic that right-wingers listen to those shows for their so-called intellectual discussion and then they cut to a commercial trying to sell some junk product that only some ignorant yokel would be tempted to buy.

These types of adverts aren't only advertising on the lesser known radio shows either...I'm talking O'Reilley and Limbaugh.

Goes to show what they think of their audience!

Advertisers research their markets. Analyze the caliber of the advertising on conservative talk shows. Many of the listeners are obviously deeply in debt and in need of debt relief programs. They also have the opportunity to easily make thousands of dollars each month working from home with no experience or capital.
Conservative radio hosts flatter their listeners by telling them they are always right about everything, providing gratification and feelings of superiority. And that people who don't agree should be regarded with suspicion, or even as sinister enemies who are determined to destroy the complacency of the Status Quo.
Where I live liberal talk radio is not available. I don't miss it.
The best medium for news is still newspapers.
