one gun turret on each cruise ship should do the job.

It shouldn't be long before the Haatuf News and Al Jazeera will be printing pictures of FA-18s, vaporizing innocent "Baby Milk Transport Boats" and their crews, off the coast of Somalia.

Don't need soldiers to deal with this problem. The problem is the pirates on the seas. That's a job for the Navy and Marines. Wouldn't even have to set foot on dry land to deal with them.

Amen to that! We need to get off our high horse and "don't stoop to their level" ideas when dealing with pirates or terrorists. The only way to win a conflict is to enter it 100%. Interesting about killing their families-I don't believe we should implement that now, but if piracy/terrorism continues or gets worse then a little "terrorism" against the terrorists might be in order. Though nothing to be proud of.
