I dont think a pregnancy would have anymore interference than any other medical conditions past presidents have delt with.
Most women dont have severe morning sickness or mood swings. I was in the hospital a total of 2 days. I worked untill my contractions were 2 minutes apart. Granted it was just a job. But the oresident does have many aids and advisors.

The chances of having a woman president get pregnant isn't likely, anyway. Most women would be at the age where they don't want to have anymore by the time they became president. I'm sure Palin has reached her limit now.
Well, I remember when President Reagan had colonic polyps removed, and sure enough...there, in all its glory, on TV, was a large drawing of the "First Colon", with a doctor standing by with a pointer explaining just HOW they were 'going in'....and what they MIGHT expect to find.
A female President who was pregnant? I suppose we'd be treated to weekly displays of drawings of "The First Uterus"....and what was going on 'in there', week by week...(perhaps ending after month 9 with an up to the minute 'dilation report' as the 'Blessed Event' unfolded....)
