If your only source of information about individuals using a gun to protect themselves is the MAINSTREAM MEDIA you would think that it NEVER happens. Here is a link to incidents where it has happened on a daily basis in the United States. Keep in mind these incidents are just the tip of the iceberg. There are probably hundreds if not thousands of Defensive Gun Uses daily where a shot is not fired but just the presence of a gun by a law abiding citizen has prevented a serious crime. These incidents very seldom make the news.

For some that have visit: Keep and Bear Arms - Gun Owners Home Page - 2nd Amendment Supporters

It is usually updated five days a week. I believe there is a link to a search enabled archive.

I'll tell you the problem with those stats:
If a person was killed, how do you know that it wasn't a "perfect crime" where the killer came out as the "victim who defended himself"?

It'd be nice to see a webpage showing all the people that get shot or killed by "law abiding citizens" that had never committed a crime.

If you are that concerned about it you could probably use Google and other online search tools to get the information.

Default its a conspiracy

just like us gun nuts to post false info that guns save lives. I really cant believe that somebody would think that almost all those people must be commiting a perfect crime you gotta quit watching TV. Its a fact that millions of lives have been saved because there are guns in the hands of the general public.
