so that he will create enough fear and despair that the citizens will be scared enough to accept/support/follow his big-spending, big government socialist plans for the country.

Remember what Rahm said;

Quote:
“Rule one: Never allow a crisis to go to waste,” Mr. Emanuel said in an interview on Sunday. “They are opportunities to do big things.
Notice obama is not out there trying to quell fear and anxiety. Is it possible that they WANT this crisis to deepen in order to really change this country into something that fits their ideology?

Rahm's comment is reckless and shows the lack of respect this administration has for U.S. citizens.

Many believe Obama wants this continue. What better way to wipe out wealth of the affluent and personal freedom than to let Wall Street tank.

Just a month ago I would never have considered this to be a possibility. But now I'm not so sure....What in the he!! is he doing??

It seems he either wants to wreck our economy or he is a complete idiot. Neither one is good for our country.

Not really. It's win/win. Obama is such a great speaker and has such a phenomenal spin machine that even if he fails, the blame Bush and "stimulus just wasn't BIG enough" would make sufficient excuses. After all, because if Krugman said it, that makes it so.

Absolutely, it got him elected and it's making it possible for him to get what he wants. Just as Hitler used the Reichstag to get what he wanted.
