Obama's approval numbers continue to fall along with the stock markets. That's not change we can believe in!

I suspect when Bush's ratings plummeted into the 20s, you probably admired him for sticking by his guns and not being swayed by public opinion.

You probably admonished Clinton for pandering to public opinion too much.

It's actually quite natural for these numbers to drop when presidents engage in the realities of making policy.

The economy is going to get worse before it gets better.

Come on folks! Obama is not a magician. The effects on the economy are the fallout from at least the last 4-5 years. Try a little patience. Certainly, we have more intelligence than to think Obama can fix this huge mess, Bush left us, within one month!

Plus, this isnt only a US problem. The entire global economy has got to be juggled. Disappointingly for the right wingers in the US, national and international political and business leaders - you know, people who actually know what's going on - respect Obama and recognize that he's doing the best he can with the huge array of problems he had to start managing even before he took office last month.

Yeah. Conservatives have turned Obama into more of a messiah than they accuse his supporters of doing.

They delude themselves into thinking that things aren't better in a month, Obama's failing. Really sad. Speaks to the ADD and desire for instant gratification that afflicts our culture.

This IS a global economic collapse. Obama himself stated repeatedly that it would take many years to fix and that it would take sacrifice from all of us.

Those seem to be very conservative statements to me, yet so many are looking for any indication that he's failing. It's sad, really.

To be fair, Obama has the same approval rating and disapproval rating as that of November of last year... it means all the gains he made since November were wiped away... its a global disaster but disasters don't come in one flavor... you can either make it better in the US or you can make it worse in the US... there is NO FIX for a global disaster but what Obama is doing is making it worse for the US... socialism does NOT work, get it through your thick head... I wish the best but what he is doing, makes it a recipe for the worst... I wish he wouldn't fail.. doesn't mean he isn't going to...
