No, what's "conveniently" overlooked is that Bush and the Republicans had TOTAL control for 6 of the last 8 years but it's all Obama's fault after month in office. Please

and you conveniently forgot that the first 6 years of the eight were prosperous despite the terrorist attacks on the most productive soil and killing of the best companies and employees etc.

Those 6 years laid the groundwork for our financial demise. Giving tax breaks to the rich broke us as a nation. That illegitimate war Bush lead us into didn't help either.

Also, leave the "patriotism card" out of this.

For people who want their card still open they are still getting a raw deal.

I know and understand what you've said, but eventually the same result that the card gets closed. The thing is that the prime rate didn't go up to necessitate the rate increase as I would understand why and MY tax dollars to them was supposed to stop amongst other things from this to happen.

We the people gave banks BILLION$ of DOLLAR$ and now they turn around in their greed and do this to their best customers.

Just mail back the card and say contract over.
Anytime a contract is renegotiated each party has the right to define it.

Just give it back, and let them keep the debt.

I wish it were that easy.

The problem with that is I will sorely lose in my credit score that I worked hard to achieve and I'll get sued for any balance and added late fees.

I looked at the transcript of Jin-Dal's speech. I can see why the dems were upset and would stoop to being critical of the messenger because there really wasn't anything to argue in his speech.

Not everyone can 'deliver' a moronic hope and change speech with the hypnotic appeal that Barry can. Yes, Jin-Dal was speaking in a Mr. Roger's Neighborhood way but then he was speaking to a (slight) majority who elected Barry.

Small words, very small words...
