The United States does not rank as one of the world's ten most prosperous nations, as rated by London's Legatum Institute.

Consistent with this finding is the fact that for the first time in history, the average Canadian is wealthier than the average American. Canada has a conservative government, and they have passed us like we are standing still. Which we are, at best.

All of which raises the question: do Barack Obama and his minions want America to be one of the world's ten most prosperous countries? If you believe, as I do, that actions speak louder than words, the answer is No.

An interesting article below.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration’s budget proposal for 2012 failed to pass both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives, marking the third straight year that the U.S. has not had a budget. Obama’s last budget went down 97-0 in the Senate.

The president’s budget was so flippant, even his own party voted against it.

Good going Obama lovers!

Interesting how a post titled "U.S. drops out of top ten prosperous nations" morphed into a "Canada excelling" thread in the very first post.

This should get interesting. I'm also "breaking out the popcorn".

Ignorance is a choice. Choose differently.

"The White House sought to provide cover for Democrats to vote against the Obama budget resolution before the vote, arguing the resolution offered by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) was different from Obama’s budget because it did not include policy report language. Democrats made the same point on the floor Wednesday in explaining their votes."

LOL, since when is Canada conservative?

Their current government may be conservative by Canadian standards, but that doesn't make them GOP equivalents.

Did you notice the part where they said they didn't touch healthcare and entitlements? Or perhaps the unmentioned fact that Canada's military budget pales in comparison to America's. Maybe we should start cuts there...

Yet two of the big things that have help Canada's economy, the Right wing have fought tooth & nail to prevent from happening; universal HC (takes a massive expense off of companies' books, and strict banking regulations. Canada's Conservationism is to the left of American centrism.

Yep. In fact I think it's worth repeating in uppercase bold red letters:

CANADA HAS SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. FOR EVERYONE.
