Tonight, the Jefferson County (KY) Public Schools are considering their 2009-2010 School Year Budget. They are counting on 12-13 million additional dollars from the stimulus plan. If that money doesn't come from Jefferson County itself, doesn't that mean that some sucker county is going to do with less? If you live in a donor state, county, or city are you willing to give up your tax dollars to help another district, maybe two or three thousand miles from your home?
