Right Side Politics Examiner: Obama Received a $101,332 Bonus from AIG

Quote:
With the anger and rage that is being exhibited against A.I.G., perhaps the bonuses Obama received from A.I.G. explain Obama's A.I.G crocodile tears.

Now that the Wall street Journal has revealed that A.I.G. paid bonuses of $1 million or more to 73 employees, it's time to ask if recipients of A.I.G. "bonuses," including President Obama, will give what now ought to be taxpayer money back?

Correction neither Obama or any of the other politicians that received campaign contributions received a bonus. Try again. In that case every politican that received contributions from companies that received bailout assistance should return the money. Stop playing the political game and hold every one in Washington to task...

The amount was over a period of time, not just last year.......

Top 5 - 1989-2008
Dodd, Chris (D-Conn) $281,038
Bush, George W (R-Texas) $200,560
Schumer, Charles E (D-NY) $111,875
Obama
, Barack (D-Ill) $110,332
McCain, John (R-Ariz) $99,249
Baucus, Max (D-Mont) $90,000
Kerry, John (D-Mass) $85,000
Johnson, Nancy L (R-Conn) $75,400
Sununu, John E (R-NH) $69,049
Clinton, Hillary (D-NY) $61,515
Lieberman, Joe (I-Conn) $57,900
Rangel, Charles B (D-NY) $53,582
Giuliani, Rudolph W (R-NY) $50,250
Lazio, Rick A (R-NY) $48,600
Ensign, John (R-Nev) $44,569

2008 & 2006 & 2002 Dems led the recieving
2004 & 2000 & 1998 Reps led the recieving

Much of the money came from PACS.

And they give more to whoever is in power........

That's the way the game is played.

You are almost right.

Every corrupt politician that took money from AIG, voted for the bill, or in Dodd's case stuck the exemption into the bill should return the money. That would be Dodd, Obama, Clinton, Biden.... This is just too easy!

So Bush & McCain took bribes & payoffs?

The twist works both ways in campaign contributions.

No, they did not. Those were political contributions. They did not vote for the Porkulous bill that exempted the AIG bonuses.

The bonus's were agreed on last year. When did AIG get bulk of the money (September 2008, if you forgot) and who was the president at the time?
