I think quoting "Faux News" or the Washington Times should be banned.

How about if instead of "Faux News" ... we substitute in its place ... "RPN - Republican Propaganda Network" ?

Excellent news.
Actually, I think that's equally silly and it really says nothing. It's just name calling, doesn't explain anything. You've never seen me stand up for that phrase or use any words like that. However, I will admit that I have classified followers of Obama as "lemmings", but that refers only to a select group of Obama supporters. I have friends (and also posters here) who support Obama and can back up their view with clear reasoning and a good argument. I don't agree with it, but I understand and respect their opinions.

But then we have the "lemmings" (many of them here) who just blindly follow Obama without the slightest clue about what he stands for. And I believe it is mostly those people who use terms like "Faux News". It's just silly.

So back on point, what it really comes down to is that many Liberals (not all by a long shot) are uncomfortable with any view other than their own. Hence they call it "Faux News" because they see their view of the of the world as the only one that counts.

Now some come by this honestly. They grew up studying biased textbooks and taught by liberal teachers and professors who have brainwashed their ability to think for themselves. Follow this with the clearly left leaning network news with NBC so in the tank for Democrats and Obama that it's it's difficult for people to break from that.

So when they are presented with some balance, with both sides being presented on one network, they rationalize it as false because the opposite side is almost all they've ever known and they have closed their minds to anything else.

And those are the "lemmings". So while that's name calling, it's not a blanket condemnation of all Liberals ... just a select few.

What an absolutely fascinating comment! Implies that Conservatives are the voice of reason and acceptance. I think someone is facing 180 degrees in the wrong direction...probably because Faux News is on the television set!

I am the only one (so far) who voted undecided. In a perfect world, I'd say yes, ban it. But the following posts are perfect examples of why I am ambivalent. I'd also like to ban the use of the word "retarded" and all its deriviatives: libitard, etc.

Reading through this thread, everyone truly seems to hate someone else. "My news is better than your news" and all that. The labels, the insults, the stupidity.

Thanks, fools. Since you can't agree on anything or see someone else's point of view as valid considering how the misinformation affects ALL of us, we all fall down......

Surely there isn't a political bias at play here??????????
I happily skip over any post where I see any of the keywords of the month, but I do note the poster and I'm sure not to take them seriously in subsequent posts.

Well, since I didn't vote for him, "Nobama" is accurate (for me).

How about I stop using "Nobama" and those of you who can't accept a non-left leaning news station stop using "Faux?"

Actually, that is how I got the idea of this poll.

Another thread (I forgot which one) had the title "Faux" in it and a moderator changed it to "Fox" to prevent flaming. This was just a few days ago.
