The situation has improved over the past 6 years. Currently, Russia has a total fertility rate of 1.7. If the country can maintain that level and then throw in a few hundred thousand immigrants every year then the country will be fine.
Why do you care about what happens to Russia, anyways?
The first and second wars ('94 and '00) prompted something of a Chechen diaspora, but I don't think that would affect population stats as Russia's currently sporting ~141 million and I'm seeing it reported that only several hundred thousand Chechens left. Significant for Chechnya but probably just a contributor to regional stability for Russia.
Russians have plenty of sex, but they get abortions and people have been leaving for years. Things have started to turn around as far as the birth rate goes though. I'm not sure if they will get their birth rate up to 2.1. I don't think I've heard of a country turning around after slipping below 1.9. It isn't like they are kind to immigrants.
That is not true....all of Europe is shrinking in population.
I haven't heard about the rest of Europe but when in France, we were told by our tour guide that the French Governement was giving special insentives for French citizens to have babies. They are very fearful of muslims out numbering them.
We should be a good neighbor and send them about 12 million illegals,all of the rwnj and all the methheads/crackheads we can round up..that'll boost their population quickly.
