I don't remember ever being discriminated against. I have had encounters with racist people though.

Generally speaking, discrimination/racism isn't blatant. Most people won't necessarily come out and say they won't hire you or they don't want you in their establishment because of your race. It is typically more subtle, sometimes even to the point where the person being negatively impacted in unaware they've been discriminated against.

However, I generally look at patterns of behavior - is the treatment that I am receiving differently than my white counterparts, are there extenuating reasons for this, etc. I had a situation where I knew I was being discriminated against, but unfortunately I was unable to provide my employer concrete evidence (until a co-worker left the firm and spilled the beans).

Yeah I pretty much agree with your post. I didn't complete the poll because I don't think any of those incidents would make me think I'm being discriminated against because I'm a minority. I'd probably just think the person just didn't like me.
