Last week, Republicans kicked off their National Council for a New America, an attempt to revive the image of the GOP. One of the leading participants, former governor Jeb Bush, said that it was time for Republicans to “listen first, to learn a little bit, to upgrade our message a little bit.”
Think Progress » Cantor Caves: Republicans Will Be ‘Listening’ To Rush Limbaugh, Not The American Public

While most folks on this board know how I feel about the fringe wing of the GOP I do honestly think that picking Limpball as your leader is a huge mistake...

Not me, I think this is the best bit of news I've heard all day! Last time I felt this cheerful was when Sarah Palin got the VP nomination.

Who do you think listens to Rush? The American public. Where does the American public gets it's ideas---from people like Rush, etc. LOL That is freedom---back and forth listening to others views.

We aren't Russia----yet.

The whole idea that we're listening to people who are basically "news readers" as if they were political experts shows how far we have sunk. Where once we had William F. Buckley Jr. now we have people who've no doubt practiced saying "Film at Eleven" in front of the mirror.

Chris Buckley would be an excellent choice to ask for help in getting the GOP unstuck.

That is, if they haven't pissed him off totally.

Guys, I would encourage you to look at Dukester's previous threads before replying. Pretty much every thread he has posted is just a copy and paste from thinkprogess or Kos. Both sites have been proven to take quotes (such as the one out of context) and manufacture stories. If you are a Conservative, do the right thing and stop replying until he actually posts an original thought.

Funny to see you talking about people who listen to "Rush", while all you do is post thread after thread after thread, from liberals, followed by hate...

Who's playing "follow the leader"
