During one of Chavez's customary lectures on the "curse" of capitalism and the bonanzas of socialism, the Venezuelan leader made reference to GM's bankruptcy filing, which is expected to give the U.S. government a 60 percent stake in the 100-year-old former symbol of American might.

"Hey, Obama has just nationalized nothing more and nothing less than General Motors. Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right," Chavez joked on a live television broadcast.

I hate to agree with a tyrant but...he is right.

Did you know that the State of Indiana (http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=49096 - broken link) has challenged the constitutionality of using tarp money for auto bail out? It is on appeal because the first judge said "they did not have standing." Gee, I never heard that before.

I'm speculating here, but I think the old European Socialist countries are in utter shock at what Obama has done in the United States.

I'll just state what the Right would have said if a supporter of our POTUS and quoted a Saudi King and Prince and said about their azz kissing buddy, BWB,

Who cares?

The only thing that Chavez does that I pay attention to, is his giving of free fuel to hundreds of thousands of poor American citizens in the NE US and Alaska the past 4 years. Something our own oil companies have yet to do.

I agree. What's most disturbing to me is that the citizens of this country aren't showing the same intelligence by being outraged.

You realize that Chavez was joking, right? And that the only reason it is funny is because it's not true, and even he realizes it.

Or are you not as smart as Hugo Chavez?

Haven't been keeping up with the 'I hate President and First Lady Obama' threads? Hard to believe. Just start a few more, that'll get the 'outrage' going.
