I dont understand their reasoning. Their are plenty of atheists even who are pro-life. Not everyone who finds something morally wrong has to be religious.
Well, Rush Limbaugh isn't religious and he's against abortion. And I think afoigerkok's (on our forum) is pro-life, but he's not religious.
To the OP, it's probably because the most vocal pro-lifers have been conservative protestants and catholics. Look at Mother Teresa, for example. The Catholic Church has been the most vocal organized voice against abortion for decades, ahead of evangelicals even.

One right here. Well, I'm actually Agnostic. But I am pro-life.

First off, who are the people who believe that?
Second, people may jump to the conclusion that anti-abortionist are religious because it's religious groups that have spearheaded the anti-abortion movement and are the most active and vocal. More often than not those who jump to that conclusion will be right. But not always.
What's your definition of "pro-life"? I know people who say they're pro-life but want abortion to remain legal.
