I won't buy a Gubmnt Motors car. Not a boycot, just don't want to support this kind of socialism. I will look at Ford...which I wouldn't have done a few years ago. I like they didn't role over under Barry's threats.

Ed Schultz. Now there is a brain trust. That MessNBC show of his is laughably bad. I saw his "in depth" interview with Pelosi. Wow. She's an idiot and he was pitching softballs which she stumbled over answering.

Wonder if he still wants to debate Dennis Prager? Bwahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahaha ha! Little coward couldn't debate his way out of a paper bag.

Dell servers come from Austin TX.

Your response will probably be along the lines of:
"but the parts aren't made here."

If an entirely-american made computer was available for not much more than what I paid for this computer, then sure, I'd have bought that instead. If you know of a computer place that can compete price-wise with Dell, and is solely produced in american, I will become their customer instead.

So then we'll use that answer for your question on buying american cars.

Thanks for playing.

Hmm.
That might be a good point.
No, nevermind.
It's not.

How many members of NAACP do you think are nascar fans?

Maybe you could estimate how many jobs will be lost if members of NAACP don't watch nascar?

Failing that, maybe you could estimate the revenue loss after advertisers notice the huge drop-off in ratings when NAACP stops watching?

I'll give you some hints for that purpose.

Jayski's® NASCAR Silly Season Site - TV Ratings 2009
Looks like nascar events average around 10 million viewers.

If EVERY member of NAACP (300,000 members in 2006) refused to watch nascar....
They'd still have 9.7 million viewers - advertisers likely would not pull their ads. So where is the potential loss in revenue?

Oh...so its only the effectiveness you are whining about? You dont care about people losing jobs unless its a certain number? What number of jobs have to be lost before you start caring? That doesnt sound very patriotic. Just becaus the naacp is too dumb to do something right you absolve them from any criticism?

Lets not reach too far else you might dislocate something.

My point is that your comparison is dumb.
