Cap & Trade legislation contains provisions for unemployment benefits.
Why would legislation that touts green jobs provide unemployment benefits unless the sponsors actually think there will be jobs lost?
Not to mention that the CBO estimates that C&T will cost Americans $22B per year by 2020. Obama promised no increased taxes on the middle class. Where does everyone think that money will come from? Higher costs for energy production/emissions will be passed right onto us. The politics of "tax increase" are lost in the semantics. They tax business, business passes it on to us. Wake up people. You've been fleeced.
It will be a giant tax, and could well put unemployment at 12%.
