The gays are fighting for equal rights, hatred has them backed into a corner, therefore they will react emotionally. Why do people opposing equal rights get even more emotional? Sometimes downright hateful and irrational? What are your opinions?

Don't sweat it, and don't pay too much attention to those who make you feel bad. Focus on the things that you can control, and you'll be a happier person.

Yep, the next time we vote on the subject I can vote against it again. And will.

How nice of you to respond that way, Roy.

Vote however you want. As we've seen, it's the courts that end up deciding these things in the end. You don't have the final word.

Don't worry people like "Roy" and "New Order" know they are going to lose the battle state by state, nobody needs their opinion or approval.

For chrissakes..Just give them equal rights and freedoms across the board so we can focus on the real issues: economy, nuclear proliferation, taxes. This debate is just such a waste of time. Future generations are going to look back on us as total moronic losers for even debating the issue as we have.

You cannot even imagine the pain we will feel if the US loses its "AAA" rating and cannot sell treasuries like before. The government still spends like drunken sailors and the federal reserve presses cannot print money fast enough. Yet with all of these problems people are sitting around talking about gay rights while Rome is in flames.

You're comparing apples to oranges. I have no problem lending support to same sex marriage, no matter the financial climate.

Yes.
Keep the idiots busy with one thing so they don't notice the other things. That's how politics, and human nature, work. I'm embarassed for us all.
