The Alaska Permanent Fund program was started in 1976. I believe the Governor was Jay Hammond, not Sarah Palin.

And you have no clue whether she (Met) gets that check or not...it is backtracked and averaged over several years to figure the payment, and it is way before Sarah came to be gov...can you imagine the checks Sarah can cash...she had to be in Alaska after flying for hours with water broken so Trig could be born in Alaska...and now she has a grandbaby under her roof...so another tidy check...go figure...
