'Put nothing in writing,' Browner told auto execs on secret White House CAFE talks; Sensenbrenner wants investigation | Washington Examiner (http://tinyurl.com/krvtac - broken link)
Quote:
Carol Browner, former Clinton administration EPA head and current Obama White House climate czar, instructed auto industry execs "to put nothing in writing, ever" regarding secret negotiations she orchestrated regarding a deal to increase federal Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards.

So THIS is what they meant when they talked of transparency.

Hope and Change...same as it ever was.

I am not sure why people would be surprised. This is how the administration looks at the people that voted for them. They are just ignorant pawns that do not need to know what their government is doing. Just shut up and hang on.

This is meant to **** people off but unfortunately the people that voted for Obama are as usual are sheep and don't care what he and his clowns do. Sound familiar?

There were a lot of people that voted "for the lesser of two evils".
They weren't happy with either choice.
They did not think to go third party because then you're just "throwing away your vote".
I almost went into the lesser of two evils camp but decided that I'd rather vote on principal and not hand my vote to someone I didn't think would do a good job. I don't consider my vote thrown away.

In poker terms, these EPA programs are called "stacking the deck", controlling comments and the flow of information to achieve the administration's agenda.

What America needs is more "Exhibit A's", pre-approved questions, planted reporters, and support from Obama media maggots to skew the news favorably for the our globe-trotting, empty-suit leader. Finding transparency in this administration is like searching for a Unicorn.

It has nothing to do with him passing a faux stimulus bill that will cost us, our children our grandchildren and great grand children trillions of dollars.

Right, it is just blind hatred.

I suppose it depends on one's definition of "the democratic process"...many of Mr Obama's tactics seem more dictatorial, than democratic......

I too, am one of those that "threw my vote away" on a third party candidate. As my country slips into the abyss, at least my conscious is clear.

Actually no, and I don't agree with it now.

I was simply pointing out the fact that this happened two months ago and was out in the open for all to see and yet there was no immediate call then for an investigation.

I guess I just find the timing interesting, what with all the bad press for the 'other side' and all.

The hack in the WH is a Chicago huckster, and learned from the best of the windy city's political thugs. Who is surprised really?
