Why do so many Democrats want this done so soon? Is it because they don't know what is there? Is it because they do know what is there and know that the longer it sits with people reading it it is doomed? Is it because they really do believe that socialized medicine is the way to go? Socialized medicine is what you have when the government is running the whole show and that is what this thing is aimed at doing.

I would like to see reform but only if Republicans and moderate Dems get to help write it and neither group is being allowed any input at all. Obama may become the dictator of the USSSA but I don't think it will be through this bill written too much by Ezekiel Emanuel. He believes in rationing completely away from the aged and that just doesn't seem to work for most folks. Have you read anything about old Zeke and his background yet? Why not?

They want reform but they DO NOT WANT OBAMA or the government running it.

Stop using one thing to slant the information on another thing.

Two completely different issues.

Health Care reform is different then a freebie government run health care.

This is why Obama is such as great scam artist, he has you even fooled.

It seems to me the uninsured really do want health insurance and easy access to health care but they don't want to have to pay for it themselves. They want Obama's plan when they believe he's going to tax the millionaires and insured and make them pay for it but when they realize they might also have to pay something, they don't want it so much.

The uninsured already have Medicaid which requires no copay, no premiums or deductibles.

Bums never stop wanting what the rest of us have earned and worked for.

Sure, the supporters of this scam bill see something for free at the cost of highly successful people.

Something for nothing is what they really want.

People are getting sick of carrying the load, time to get the bums to pay for their own healthcare, food, housing, etc.

Reform....Good......lowering cost, giving people options.....like the sound of that.....
Pushing through a bill in a matter of DAYS...real BAD......the Messiah has not even read the bill.....what a joke....we all want reform........just not reform that is going to kick us off of our private health care that is working, and reform that is going to cost us and our children's children billions of dollars. Once the government gets their greedy paws on ANYTHING they blow it up into a bloated money pit.......

It took Obama 6 months to find a dog. He wants trillions of reform in a few weeks. Something seems skewed there.

I could almost support Obama's plan when it comes to taxing those who opt out of having insurance IF he would allow all the rest of us to keep our plans and IF he had nothing else up his sleeve about getting everyone into the government's plan.

The uninsured should start paying something for their health care and if they demand insurance then they should get slapped with $2000 a year to "opt" out since they are the problems and they are demanding this.

I'm tired of paying my own way and everyone else's, it's time for more to contribute even if it means they have to give up their iPhones and cable television.

I believe the government should offer the uninsured and only the uninsured a separate plan that the uninsured pay for and they should have it like the rest of us -- $2000 deductibles, copays and premiums that can go up.
