Considering that any healthcare reform is going to have a profound impact on each and every American for the next few decades, I believe it is warranted to challenge certain aspects of any plan that comes into play. Or we could just sign the first thing that comes through with our eyes closed, since that has worked oh so well in the past..
What is wrong with taking the time to get it done right? This is a complex problem with many effects of different facets of our society. It shouldn't be rushed through.
A well thought out plan, adequately funded, with improvements in quality of care will be passed anytime. It doesn't need to be rushed into. The current bills aren't quite up to that level yet, they need more work.

Agreed. But when I see this proposal being compared to Canadian, British... systems and being opposed, even from the politicians much less those who truly believe in them, that government is bad and can not do anything right, that corporations rule... it is logical to give up hope.
