People are getting real cash for clunkers and then the cars are being resold to dealerships.

People are getting double the price for what their used clunkers are worth in cash. Then the cars are resold for Obama's $4,500 to dealerships.

It pays cash to have clunkers these days.

You got a link or is this more of your lies? I'm actually sure some greedy folks will try to scam the system but it's hard to resell a car that's been destroyed or re-registar a car when it's VIN has been junked. You can only do so much..This is a greedy @ss country.

Please explain how paying $4500 of taxpayer monies for cars is classified a success.

Encouraging people who can ill afford a car payment in these harsh economic times are being encourage to take on a car note that many cannot afford. Did we not learn ANYTHING from the housing "crisis"?

The program is "working" quite well for a giveaway program. Many of us are still waiting for the "car in every garage,...and a chicken in every pot" promise the feds made years ago.
