I have that already with COBRA, along with some that met the conditions.
Incredibly expensive for 12 months, let me tell ya.
Fortunately, I had the same insurance company as my wife's plan. I was able to transfer over to hers without even signing anything when I changed jobs.
I'd like to expand the idea further though, regarding "safety net health insurance".
Ya know how some plans give ya the opportunity to have a health insurance account for a year?
Ya know, for example..... that you want to have LASIC surgery sometime this year, and you put some cash into your health insurance account....un-taxable....then use it for the procedure.
How 'bout LIFETIME health insurance accounts? Is that the same idea?
Not taxed, used at your discretion, (provided that you're not as crazy as I am...),.....and then treated as an IRA if ya don't use it for health care?
Too bad the former governor couldn't have paid as much attention to her job when she had one as she's been paying to insignificant bloggers (and then calling them "the press"). No wonder she couldn't answer the simple question about what newspapers she reads. She was too busy prowling the internet looking for someone daring to breathe in the wrong octave concerning her so she could whine about it. Speaking of the internet, I thought that "less politically correct" twitters would have been flying from her fingertips by now. Did she quit Twitter as well?

That's part of the problem, the silent moderates are fine with the extremists when they are going nuts about something they agree with. Then the moderates get angry when their opponents associate them with the vocal nut jobs of either party. Stop if internal party folks would just do something about that, then there would be no association.
