Not everything has to be an extreme. Which is what your two options are.

I dont think he did a great job. I dont think he was terrible.
Just as I dont think Obama is doing a great job, but I also know he's not terrible.

I was thinking about adding in a 3 "not sure" option but I wanted it to be so that you had to select one or the other. Otherwise, I will get a whole bunch of "not sure".

If you had to pick yay or nay, what would you pick?

Thanks.

I'm sorry. I cant just pick an absolute like that when there are so many things involved.

But if I could get by with saying I disapprove overall I would vote that. But not going all the way to say "terrible"

If you would an option that was short of terrible, I would vote for it. He did more bad than good IMO. I voted for him in 2000 which is the last time I voted for a Rep president and unless they come up with a real Republican (small government, fiscally conservative, social moderate) they will not be getting a vote from me anytime soon.

I did until I realized how gigantic of a mistake the Iraq invasion was. I never thought it would be what it turned out to be. I was spoiled by the quick success of the first gulf war and thought the second would be the same so I supported it. Then we find out it was an invasion based on lies and that did it for me. I lost all trust in Government at that point. The bush Doctrine of spreading Democracy is completely flawed and has no place in our society.

I also had to wake up to the infringements on our liberties and the centralization of power under Bush. Again further eroding my trust in Government. The mess the Cheney administration created will have reprecussions for at least the next decade.

Bush's Presidency is over

Your poll is poorly worded and unanswerable - there should have been alternative choices.

I approved until about 2005 or 2006. My approval made a sharp turn somewhere around then.

I am conservative.

Neither Bush was a conservative and both could hardly be called republicans.
