Scrapping the missile defense initiative in Europe to please Russia, and insisting that Israel make concessions in areas that are out of the domain of its leadership (since they are, to the Jewish people, Divine edicts,) are but two acts that demonstrate the inept policy of Hillary Clinto, and Barak Obama, a policy of turning on allies to appease foes.

The move to scrap missile defense was followed by a Hillary Clinton visit to Russia. In Russia she was told that Russia is pleased at the US capitulation, but that it will not support the US policy regarding Iran; in other words, sacrificing allies in Europe did not soften Russia rejection of key US policy, nor did it bring Russia closer to allying itself with the US.

The conditions Obama is trying to impose on Israel, especially those that, in any way, relate to Jerusalem, are widening the chasm with Israel that his Administration created in the short few months in office.

Obama's speach in Cairo trying to appease the Islamic world was mocked by Muslim leadership, in spite of its conciliatory tone. The Saudi government, for example, did not agree to help relieve the oil crunch as Obama requested, while Ahmadinejad simply Mocked the American President, calling him an inexperienced and naive polician, while continuing his Anti American behavior.

There are many other examples of the inability of Obama, and Clinton, two clever politicians, to become diplomats. More alarming is the fact that these two ambitious politicians seem be more concerned with their personal agendas, than with what may be best for their country.

But it saves hundreds of billions of dollars from being wasted extending a high-tech shield over non-US soil. We can no more afford to run missile defense in Europe on our own, than we can extend the missile shield to Africa or Australia. Without a unilateral American missile shield in place, Europe will be forced to confront Iran and Russia rather than relying on Nanny USA to fight all their battles for them.

Nonsense. The offensive actions of the new radical far-right party in control of Israeli politics are widening the gap between the nations. The US isn't "imposing" anything. It is simply sticking to an internationally-recognized peace plan while the Israeli government goes rogue.

Egypt is barely holding together as a viable democracy as it is antagonized by Israel, prodded toward war by it's less moderate neighbors, threatened by Libya, and absorbing an influx of radical Islamists from Saudi Arabian temporary labor camps, and being forced to allow the Muslim Brotherhood--a racist hate group similiar to the US-based KKK--to participate in elections (Thanks a lot, Bush). Obama's speech was a calming influence and a boost to moderate influences trying to prevent degeneration into a religious theocracy.

Iran is wracked by internal strife as it's citizens buck the Ayatolla's hand-picked public-figurehead attack dog, thanks to the sudden loss of the usual bluster and saber-rattling from the Great Satan.

Saudi Arabia... is in trouble, and it will spell more and more trouble for the whole region as the Monarchy looses control of the people.
