Would anyone expect the lessons of the last 2 years to sink in?
It is disturbing that these guys still do not get it. Are they stupid?
No, I believe it is pure arrogance and ego.
We already are setting up for the next financial crisis.

They seem to have a lot in common with our elected officials.

CEO's have a win/win situation.

Company does good CEO makes money.
Company does bad CEO gets removed and makes money.

The job of the CEO is to make money for the company. He is beholden to the board and the shareholders. As long as he stays within legal boundaries then he is "Superman".

CEOs can do no wrong. They're just being capitalists.

If you don't like it, you must be a socialist. You should move to Europe.

Signed,
Sarah Palin

I wish more of America could go back to making Honest hard earned money. It would do us all a great amount of good.

Well, they seem to be awfully close to our leaders in Washington.
So no socialism here... right?

I was kidding.

I do realize there's socialism for businesses in the U.S. Unfortunately, I don't think a lot of American citizens are aware of it - or at least they didn't mind it that much before Obama became President.

Well it must be a good-ole-boy network because once a CEO leaves he then becomes a board member for another corporation and is still raking it in.

I musta missed that class in college

Yep. That's where they ultimately derive their power: government. (with the quid pro quo being campaign money.)

No. Corporate/government entanglement would be fascist, not socialist.

I know, it is a weird socialism though. It is almost as if corporations and Government are the same. It is not state run companies like venezuela but there is a strange relationship in this country between corps and Gov.

Can someone explain it better?
