This is a very interesting article. Lets see how those former and current service men and women feel about this one.

"The inspector general said one recently retired official, Jennifer S. Duncan, improperly approved numerous bonuses and "acted as if she was given a blank checkbook to write unlimited monetary awards."
During the two years in question, Duncan received over $60,000 in bonuses, according to the report"

Sickening. And even worse, no one has responded to this travesty.

They won't, its Pre-Obama Presidency, so why bother. I'm not even surprised that the one marine that has usually starts 3 to 5 Anti- Obama threads per day has not chimed in, and he's proud? Yeah

Sounds a lot like companies have layoffs but CEOs get million dollar bonuses

The VA is supposed to be under Congressional oversight. The President has nothing to do with it. Where the heck was Nancy Pelosi during all of this? Probably cruising the skies in her Gulfstream....

More importantly, for those who swear a government run program for anything trumps the private sector, this is exactly the kind of crap we all have to look forward to in terms of the corruption and graft the is endemic to any government program, regardless of which party gives birth to it.

I read that. Here's what I heard while reading..
Quote:
WASHINGTON -- While hundreds of thousands of disability claims lay backlogged at the Department of ObamaCare, thousands of technology employees at the department received $24 million in bonuses, a new report says.

Four high-level employees received about $60,000, $73,000, $58,000, and $59,000, respectively, according to the report, without sufficient justification. Another employee received a $4,500 performance award within the first 90 days of her employment from a manager who said that she did not even remember her.
And is what I would expect from government run healthcare.
