"Someone told me that Doritos uses genetically engineered corn. Is that bad for you?"

You're eating Doritos and you are worried about if the corn is bad for you???

Just realize that GM corn has NO nutritional value. Did you know that all the corn grown in Iowa has no nutritional value anymore? The farmers who grow it say they will not eat it. It goes into making such things as Doritos, but also to feed cattle. But it is so awful that the cattle cannot live very long, so they are slaughtered within about 18 months - before they have a chance to die of malnutrition. Monsanto is completely evil and is doing GREAT harm to our planet.

This is seed purchased from Monsanto originally.
Or even if a field of Monsanto seed cross pollinates with a field of non-Monsanto seed, Monsanto can demand payment from that farmer.

Monsanto has patents and deep pockets.
They are now experimenting with livestock genes.
This is completely true! They have done awful things to fish, and then those fish that are released into the wild overpower normal fish! We have no idea what will happen in a decade. GM plants are overtaking natural plants, rendering them sterile as well! This is frightening to me.

So genetically engineering food is like squishing dead humans and making them into power bars? Did I miss something?

Just a handful of Doritos has about 120 empty calories. That alone should be enough to make you avoid them.

Another good documentary is The World According to Monsanto.

Here's a link where it's broken up into 11 minute videos..total is about 1.5 hours

The World According to Monsanto - Full Documentary (http://www.twilightearth.com/environment-archive-2/the-world-according-to-monsanto-full-documentary/ - broken link)
