Yes, she should! That woman is a criminal. I've read about how she uses military jets to take personal trips, vacations that included friends being brought along -- all on tax payers money. She used tax payer money to pay her husband's salary one year. She used tax payer money to have the inside of her condo redecorated. She's worked abuse of power in public office into an art form!
While they're busy giving her the boot they can give Harry Reid the boot too.
I think Nancy Pelosi is being used to promote Obama's agenda. He's letting her be the face of his whacko radical agenda because no matter what nutso thing she does or says, the people she represents will continue to elect her (unlike Harry Reid who is on shaky ground). I'm not sure I want her replaced as Speaker. Letting her comandeer a microphone as Speaker puts the opposition closer to winning seats in 2010. Everytime she says or does something publicly, there's massive wincing in livingrooms around America. You know, if it has to be some Democrat, why not her? I can't think of another Democrat in the House that has the same negative effect on people.
The only people who "wince" at Pelosi are the handmaidens of Republican bullies.
Oh please. Even strategically speaking as a Democrat, you have to wince at some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth. Do you think the independent voters dropping like flies are all credited to Obama's doings and speeches? It's like every week with her it's something new.
* Looking at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, 19% of Americans give her job positive
marks but almost half (48%) give her negative ones
This Harris Poll was conducted online within the United States August 10 and 18,
2009, among 2,498 adults (aged 18 and over). Figures for age, sex,
race/ethnicity, education, region and household income were weighted where
necessary to bring them into line with their actual proportions in the
population. Propensity score weighting was also used to adjust for respondents`
propensity to be online.
She does provide a lot of entertaining material that's been missing since that loon from GA, McKinney, left the DC stage.
