I know of a rancher in Texas who doesn't even live in one of these doctor-less counties who just didn't feel like messing with doctors and more appointments after he was told some growth he had was cancer.

He took a metal rod and heated it up to red hot in a hot fire and took the glowing red end of that rod and put it to that growth he had. That was over 10 years ago and it didn't grow back so he figures he got it all. Sometimes there is health care but they are do-it-yourselvers.

Have you ever traveled to TX...
It's Big. It is beautiful in some parts, but as they say:
You'll hate 95% of TX The 5% you like, is when your leaving

A Doc in a non metro area of TX will starve financially
quicker than a tumbleweed can block the door of his/her
office Even with a federal financial incentive e.g.
shortage areas - one has to weigh: whether you want to
commit suicide now, or wait until your spouse does....
awfully hard country - most of it.

I wish someone could do statistics on this sort of thing.

My grandfather NEVER went to a doctor until he was in
his late 80's. After that it was downhill... - poor soul - he died at 96

Heard this story once of a Greek man who was diagnosed
with cancer. He was told here in the States he had 6 months
to live, unless he did this, that, da da da da.....
He chose to go back home and live out his final days with
his family. That was 20 years ago and he is
now in his 90's.

If we all ate "homemade" Yogurt it's
safe to say: we all live to be 100
