Republicans have an offer -- or 35 -- for President Obama if he is serious about wanting to listen to alternative proposals.

"You've got the House working group -- solutions working group on health care; you've got a proposal there. You've got H.R. 3400.

There are so many versions of this bill floating around Washington it isn't funny anymore.

News, Republicans have drawn up 35 different health care proposals this year.

I wonder if that's with crayon or majic marker?

You know - the lies from the DEMs (underscore PELOSI and REID, in particular) saying that the GOP has brought nothing to the table on healthcare was just proven to be exactly that - A LIE - and instead of your acknowledging that your Democratic leaders have purposely distorted the truth . . . all you can do is utter some smart aleck remark.

America - here it is - Exhibit A: even when the truth is in front of the left's nose - they will snicker and shrug their shoulders and never admit that their leaders have LIED to them just to divide this country.

Unbelievable.

35 individual and un-related pieces of legislation is not a health care proposal .

Many of them refer to the same group of people being covered, with a different or contradictory offering.

Some are directed at a limited and small audience. (like Comprehensive Immunosuppressive Drug Coverage for Kidney Transplant Patients or To Increase the Health Benefits of Dependents of Members of the Armed Forces Who Die Because of a Combat-Related Injury )

There is no "plan" offered in most of the 35 , just pieces.

Now when you compare their hr3500 to the dems hr3200, it preserves bad employer offerings (if they offer you have to take), puts in the standard conservative limitations on abortion, and passes much of the administration and regulation of the system to the states, while restricting compensation from malpractice and mismanagement. (and we won't mention, that their is no funding provided for it)

And the president was considering some of them (from the 35 pieces).

Were any of these alleged "35 different health care proposals" "drawn up" in a fashion similar to the "budget" the Republicans offered up earlier this year, which contained no hard numbers?

Exactly. Rupublicans've had years to submit viable health care reform proposals, but they didn't give a crap about this very important issue until it became pretty apparent that the new (Democratic) President and majority in Congress were going to make it a top priority and weren't going to sit on their thumbs any longer (ie the Republicans had to do something). Now they're all in a huff because they're not getting their way. Too bad.

It's become more of a you-Republicans-had-your-chance-but-did-nothing-so-please-step-aside-and-let-the-Democrats-get-it-done-without-you kind of a thing. At this point, any proposals the Republicans "draw up" are a day late and a dollar short. Or, more accurately, decades late and billions of dollars short.

Most of the offerings have nothing to do with national health care reform and many have no support outside of the congressman offering it. Some are re-hashes of previous bills, that went no where (with either majority under the previous president)

NONE of the offerings have anything to do with healthcare reform including all the Dem versions.

It's HEALTH INSURANCE SUBSIDY and nothing more..nothing is being "reformed" in the healthcare industry.
